Vada Pav Recipe

Vada Pav is quite popular in Maharashtra and is very easy to make. So you must try this complete recipe of Vada Pav, you will like it very much.

Pav bread
Boiled potato – 5
Green chilli – 25 gram
Ginger – 3 inch
Garlic – 25 gram
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves – 1/4 cup
Peanut – 1/2 cup
Gram flour – 1 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1/2 tbsp
Rice flour – 1 tbsp (optional)
Mustard seed – 1 tbsp
Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
Hing – 1/4 tbsp
Cooking oil

Vada Pav Recipe

𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠

1. To make Vada Pau, first you will make a masala paste

  • 3 green chillies
  • 12- 13 peeled garlic
  •  3 inches ginger
  •  a little curry leaves
  • a quarter cup coriander leaves

You will put it in a blending jar and make a paste. Do not use water to blend it, due to which it will grind it.

2. Now, you will take boiled potatoes, and mashed it. Now let us move on to the process of making Aloo Masala

  • Heat some oil in a pan. As soon as the oil gets hot
  • Add 1/4 spoon cumin seeds in it.
  • Add 1/4 teaspoon mustard,
  • 1/4 teaspoon hing.

3. You will cook these in a little oil. After that you have to add the paste you have made to it. So keep the gas flame low here. It will start getting a very nice garlic and green chilli flavor, so you just have to cook it for this much. Now you will add boiled potatoes in it, then you will add salt in it, then you will cook it for 1 minute. For this, we will fry it on medium flame. Then fry the potatoes well, then our potato masala is ready.

4. To make chutney, take half a cup of peanuts and roast them for two minutes on medium flame. As soon as the peanuts are roasted, you will cool it and take out its peel. Here you have put the peanuts in mixer jar, then you will add 12-13 peeled garlic, along with it a small amount of cumin seeds and after that a little red chilli, after this you will grind it.

5. Take one gram of gram flour in a vessel

  • Add half a spoon of turmeric powder,
  • Add salt as per taste
  • Add red chilli powder in it
  • Add one spoon rice flour
    You have kept it so thick batter, this batter has been prepared.

6. Now you will make Vada, so for this, take the Aloo Masala here and make it in a round shape on the palms, and after this keep it aside, so here you have prepared all the potato balls. Now you fry the vadas, so for this Take oil in a vessel and let it heat well. Keep the gas flame medium, and as soon as the oil gets heated well. Now put this potato ball in the gram flour, and after that, you will put it in the hot oil, then for this you use a spoon and a fork, with a fork. You will fry on medium high flame until the vadas turn brown, then take it out. Our Vadas is ready.

7. So you have made all the preparations, now add some green chillies in hot oil. Will take out after frying, it is served with vada pav.

8. Now you move on the final process, where you will assemble all the things. Now how to decorate it, for this you will take Ladi Pav and cut it with a knife or with our hands. Open it , then you will apply red chutney that you made to the peanuts, after this put vada and on top of it these fried green chillies. Our street style Vada pav is ready.
